What is the best store bought hair color for gray coverage?

I have some silver hairs poking up and the color I normally use (Feria) just turns them a brownish-red-silver which sounds cool, but doesn't really look so cool. I don't have a lot of money so going to a stylist isn't really an option right now. Any advice? What is the best store bought hair color for gray coverage?
Loreal excellence is very good for gray coverage.I started going gray in my early 20's, so I feel your pain! Garnier's 100% is also pretty good, depending on the color. Some shades are too 'vibrant' to adequetly cover gray. But they tell you which shade is which on the box.And it's a little less pricey than Loreal. What is the best store bought hair color for gray coverage?
Walmart ,they carry all the major brands and are cheaper then anyone else.
Get the L'Oreal Excellence. Its in a creme colored box.
Nice %26amp; Easy and Loreal Excellence are supposed to be really good at covering grey hair.
Nice 'N Easy Grey Solution
I have brunette hair, so I have to watch what I use for gray coverage. I buy Nice 'n Easy. It does have ammonia in it, so be careful. But, I think the ammonia helps to cover the gray. I sure do like it. I stay away from the ';ash'; colors because the turn my hair a greenish color, and the ';warm'; colors turn it more towards an orange color. I have never had a bad experience with this product, and it doesn't cost a fortune.
garnier nutrise, and it smells amazing no toxic chemical smells!
I use Preference, which colors the slight gray I have. 5MB is the best color!!!
loreal works best for me, expertise is what i get cause i can do highlights with it. i have been dyeing my hair for 30 years, and loreal products have worked the best.
Ogilvie covers gray best you can get it at Wal Mart The other choice is L'Oreal Excellence but Ogilvie is gentler on your hair

How can you naturally lighten your hair color?

I have naturally blonde hair but on the bottom layer it is growing in dark and I need to find a simple remedy to lighten the hair. How can you naturally lighten your hair color?
Some people have hair that naturally lightens in the sunlight.... aside from that, you will probably have to put something in your hair to lighten. Try spraying a little lemon juice on the darker spots of your hair and sit out in the sun for a while. Just keep in mind that it will tend to dry your hair out a little so make sure you get some moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. How can you naturally lighten your hair color?
i have naturally blonde hair i find find that the underneath layer is the same as yours....i dont particulary find lemon juice grt because you would have to go outside with ur head upside down!!!LOL but i think 'sun in' is good.....you buy it in a pharmacy and then you can go out/or blowdry your hair...the heat works too....!!!!but im not too sure if you can buy 'sun in' in America!!!!i think you can i think i saw it over there!!!
Peroxide works best .But if you want to use something natural,I have heard that Lemon Juice works. Also I remember reading something about a Saffron infusion.Although I think that might make it more strawberry blonde than just blonde.
put some lemon juice in a spray bottle and after you have washed your hair, before styling, spray the bottom layer with the lemon juice and style as usual. Expose your hair to as much sun as possible.
I've never tried it, but lemon juice is as ';natural'; as you're going to get. My sister actually put it in her conditioner bottle and left it in her hair for a minute or two before she rinsed it out.
The sun. I spend enough time outdoors in the summer that my dark dark brown hair turn light brown to a blonde on the top layers. In the winter it become sun deprived and goes back to its natural color.
My sister use to put lemon juice on her hair and then went out in the sun. Not sure if this is good for your hair though. Ask your stylist what to use.

  • How hard is to go from medium dark brown to ash brown for hair color?

I want to dye my hair for the New Year. Currently, my natural hair color is medium dark brown. Do I have to bleach it or anything before going to a lighter ash brown? How hard is to go from medium dark brown to ash brown for hair color?
Box color is very riskay. I can't tell you what color it will actually turn out to be, but I can tell you that color doesn't lift color, in other words if you already have color on your hair, don't expect to get something lighter without seeing some funky tones. Also ash you have to be careful-it can pull some cool tones, (Grayish) that are often very undesirable. Go to a salon.. :) They will do it best! How hard is to go from medium dark brown to ash brown for hair color?
nope. you should be fine just dying it. if your using box color you should go one color lighter cuz box color makes your hair darker everytime you dye it.

How do I get my dyed hair and natural hair color to change?

Well I dyed my hair black in August 2006, and since then it's grown out over 4 inches, and the lady at the salon said to dye it all black so it can be lightened and highlight. So she did a strand test and the top half was blond and the bottom half was like an orange blonde. But, before I dyed it black, I bleach my whole hair which then turned orangey blonde (cus before I had it bleached out and dyed auburn) and dyed it brown. Then I got highlights on the top half of my hair. Would this be the same thing? That's how I colored my hair before I dyed it black. So I want to get it light reddish brown, but still the lady insist I let my hair grow out or dye it black then come back to the salon. Her Co-worker who did my hair before just bleached the highlighted parts and used a toner. I guess it depends on the hair stylist? Or am I just repeating myself? How do I get my dyed hair and natural hair color to change?
To get the best possible colour in your hair, particularly if you want to lighten it, you need to put a decolorant through it, such as peroxide. This will bring all of your hair to a basic blonde, depending on how long you leave the bleach in. Then, you can put any colour through your hair. However, if you are intending to go dark, it's probably a good idea to put a red in before the colour you want. That way the colour will grab, and if you want brown, and you just dye straight over blonde hair, it could turn green.

This is only if you're using permanent colours, of course. If you decide on a semi-permanent or tone on tone colour, it's a different process.

The best way to do it is to go to a hairdresser, because if you mess it up it could be bad.

Also, make sure you use a shampoo and conditioner that moisturises intensely and is designed for coloured hair, because colouring your hair that much seriously damages it.

What is the best way to go from jet black hair (my natural hair color) to medium brown?

I've never dyed my hair before and I want my hair all-around brown (no streaks or highlights). Would it be best to bleach my hair then color it? Or is there an easier way rather than bleaching my hair? What is the best way to go from jet black hair (my natural hair color) to medium brown?

What shampoo and condition will help maintain my dyed hair color?

I straighten my hair AND swim daily, but my hair IS NOT damaged; only have a few small split ends once in a while. What shampoo and condition will help maintain my dyed hair color?
I have shorter hair so there might be some differences.

I never worry too much about holding color so much as I worry about not looking terrible in fluorescent lighting.

-Dove is an excellent conditioner (good for damaged hair from chlorine) I don't like the smell though .__.

It holds color reasonably well. It makes hair look a little bit darker.

-Garnier made my dyed hair fade out into my natural hair color slowly (which is actually what I wanted). It gives a reddish tint. I've never had any dry/flaky hair from using it. It works marvels the first few weeks you use it. I still use it because it gives hair a natural color even under fluorescent lights.

-Pantine made my hair greasy, then it made my scalp break out. This happened to a few of my friends also.

-Aussie products give a lot of shine, volume, and they hold color nicely. I highly recommend Aussie.

-Cheaper products like Suave, VO5, and Herbal Essences aren't going to be very helpful for hair exposed to chlorine and hair dye.

-remember not to dye your hair too often, it might not be damaged now--but chlorine and hair dye have a way of balding people 'O'What shampoo and condition will help maintain my dyed hair color?
    I deffintaly recommend Dove,

it keeps your hair shining brilliantly, and they have assorted kinds.

DO NOT use garnier. That is known to really make your hair flakey and itch.
Wella shampoo and conditioner. It helps keep your color up to 78%. As far as straightening every day, be sure to use something for heat protection. The split ends still need to be trimmed or they will turn into a lot of split ends.
my friends in cosmetology told me that pantene is horrible for your hair so i suggest you don't even try their line.
i know that herbal essence and sunsilk have special shampoo and conditioner for dyed hair.

How to touch up the bathroom wall that has hair color products?

I spilled some hair color thing onto the bathroom wall (small dots) and now I'm moving out I need to touch up a little before returning the house to landlord. Is there any quick fix tips available? I'm looking for some wall touch up paint pen/spray, do any of you know where to get these stuff from? (the wall is in cream color).

Many thankssssssssssssssssssssssssssssHow to touch up the bathroom wall that has hair color products?
No touch-up pen...you will need to use a stain blocking primer (can be in a spray can) on your spots, then repaint the wall(s).

Good luck...How to touch up the bathroom wall that has hair color products?
Have you tried bleach on it? Try washing it with super hot water (wearing gloves) and about 10% chlorine bleach. If there is still a ghost use a Clorox Bleach pen. Just dab it on the exact spots then leave it on overnight. In the morning, rinse. I''ll bet that most or all of it will come out. This technique has served me well. If you still have stains then you might try something like softscrub with bleach or Comet but they could damage the paint as well.

You will be hard-pressed to find an exact match to the paint since there are hundreds of shades of cream from varying manufacturers. You could spend a lot of time running around town to find it and even if you had the can that was used originally, the color is likely to be a little different because paints can fade or become dirty over time.

If you have a friend who is an artist (with an eye for color matching) they may be able to touch it up with acrylics.

    Good luck.

depending how long you lived at this place will constitute what to do. if you have been there over 2 years that will be consider normal wear and tear and they were planing on painting any way (check with your manager for a copy of responsibilities when moving out). if you lived less than two years then you are in a little jam. if it is pretty close to a cream color, try using white out (yes i said white out) use the white out that is used for covering repo's, reason being it has a sealer built in to cover with out bleeding threw. now, if you go to office depot to get that type of white out. they have white out in a cream color also. you really cant get any cheaper. hope this helps
Try taking the stain off with rubbing alcohol, first, this has always worked for me when I got dye on the wall or counter.

If it doesn't work, you could also probably just take some fine sand paper and sand the spots off. Either of these will be easier than trying to match the color. Most landlords usually expect to have to repaint a property between tenants, anyway. Unless you made a real mess of the place, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
first you'll need to get the exact color and sheen (flat, semi-gloss, etc)

if its just a few dots you can use a q-tip or small artist brush.

if its a large area, just roll out the wall.

or....try hot water and a clean cloth

or...mineral spirits and a clean cloth

be careful with any cleaner as you will remove the paint

    good luck!

My hair color is black.7 months ago i tried to color my hair dark brown but i got nothing changed. That time I used Natural match.I called loreal office%26amp;thay suggested me to use more lighter color %26amp;wait untill my colored hair is cutt off.2 days before I cutt my hair(layer),I bought Loreal excellens golden brown(F3)to color my hair But no result again. What should I do. I have to do Bleach? Is it safe to do bleach at salon? How can I color my hair at home? Which hair color is good?
you should go and have someone so it, only because black is the only color hair that you have to strip the color out of it in order to get it lighter, you don't have to bleach it unless you want a blonde color. Have a hair stylist put a stripper in your hair, it will get rid of some of the color and it wont be as harsh as bleaching, then she can dye it another color. How can I color my hair at home? Which hair color is good?
leave it the natural color - otherwise you will wreck your head and it will look terrible.....
black is the hardest color to come down you almost have to bleach it or deposit professional color on top of color. i would not bleach black hair unless you are preparred to have to cut it off when you get trims because it is so drying.
Look I have black hair too. I suggest you only do highlights. In my opinion highlights look better than coloring you whole head. If you do highlights ou should try light brown it will look so cute.
Bleach is never ';safe'; for your hair, but if it's done right, your results will leave you with minimal damage. It is the best way to get a high ';lift'; in the color. You could always try lighter brown shades too, but the thing with that is that it could tint reddish, and I don't know if you would be happy with that. Good luck!!!
i've colored my hair at home so many times and have gotten great results. no you do not have to do bleach just because it can be harmful to your hair and damage it too much. but if u do go to a salon that would be ur best answer...tell the stylist what color you are looking to get and she should know how to get it that color. or you can go to ur stylist and she can recoment an 'at home' color treatment...good luck!
My hair is naturally black and I have been advised by many professionals to never dye my hair myself ever! Most boxed colors aren't going to be able to do anything to your hair because your hair is to dark. Ontop of that you really need some form of bleach to bring down the color, and you never want to do that at home. I went to a ';professional'; who put bleach in my hair causeing the top layer of my hair to literally break off!! It has taken over a year and going to a super high end salon to get it fixed. Leave the hair dying to the professionals that know what they are doing, or don't even mess with it.
    do it red

How do I find good conditioners like the ones in the box of hair color?

Does anyone know if anything similar to those conditioners can be found? I like them enough to keep buying hair color just to get them. How do I find good conditioners like the ones in the box of hair color?
Beauty supply stores have them. Some of them, like Armstrong-McCall, you have to be a licensed cosmetologist to buy from them, but others, like Sally Beauty Supply, are open to the public. I shop at Sally's all the time. Check and see what's in or near your area. How do I find good conditioners like the ones in the box of hair color?
the deep hot oil/conditioner treatments (ex. alberto Vo5) are usually pretty good. leave it for at least 10 minutes. 30 is better. make sure its hot/warm. i find most conditioners work better when they're warm anyways. and rinse your hair with cold water afterwards. good luck
If you have Sally's Stores in your area, search there.

    Good Luck
i know! i just bought haircolor with the most amazing conditioner in the world. the only thing i've ever found that's close is pantene conditioners in the sort of milky-clear squeeze tube..intensive restoration treatment i think is what it's called. its a little more greasy than my favorite haircolor conditioner (natural instincts), but it's definately the closest i've found. aussie 3 minute miracle is also very close, not as close as pantene though.
go to a super cuts or some hair salon and buy ';biolage'; it-works-WONDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!=D
try salons, they are pricey, but work amazingly! try back to basics rasberry almond if you have heavy hair. if you have fine hair, it will weigh it down. however, leave the conditioner on once a week for 30 minutes. it works really good!

How long do I have to wait to change hair color?

I put a permanent hair dye in my hair, but it did not lighten as much as I wanted (I have origianally dark hair). Do I have to wait to add more permanent color or is it okay to try it again right away?

It looks really good I just want it a little lighter. How long do I have to wait to change hair color?
I have colored since I was 16, I'm 42 now. Trust me..wait @4 weeks between or your hair gets extremely dry and brittle from the over processing. If you have dark and want lighter, be careful not to get too drastic. Work into having lighter hair. I color my own out of a box. IF you can afford it, go to a salon for a visit and get their advice. I think there is an 800 customer svc. # on the box you purchased. Call them and they will give you advice based on their product you are using. Once you discover a brand you like, stick with it. Rub a slight amount of conditioner on your ends BEFORE applying the color to keep them a little healthier. Just a little, not heavy. Good luckHow long do I have to wait to change hair color?
You should probably wait a couple of weeks. If you want to get lighter you should consider stripping it. It's not good for your hair, but it will get you the right results. Or, if you're trying a lighter dye, do the strand test to see which color works that way you won't have to worry about doing your whole head again, you can just move to a lighter or darker color.
I always thought you had to wait a few Months to change hair color. But...My Son's Girl Friend changes Her's every few Days and Her hair looks great, Shinny and healthy. Since I've known Her ( about a Year ) I have started changing my hair color more often. My hair to looks great, shinny, healthy and full of body.
i would say wait a little while because permanent hair color damages your hair make sure you condition your hair with the proper products
    I would say 3 to 4 weeks.

One of the best ways to ruin your hair is to over process it.
if you like the base colour that is already there the safest and healthiest way to go a little lighter, would be to have a full head of highlights put in a shade or 2 lighter than the base colour. It will give the appearance of being lighter all over, but will also give it a lot of texture and a 3 dimensional quality. This you can do at any time, however if you would rather put an another all over on-th-scalp colour, I would give it a week or 2 especially if you tend to have sensitive skin
It's o k that you can hightlight it straight away, but is better to wait for at least 3 months to have an other permanent hair colour done.
2days. That is the min. I would go. To lighten dark hair you have to strip out the color that is in your hair naturaly. If the color lightner you chose didn't go llight enough for you then you will need to do it again. If you only want it a little lighter do a strand test. That will let you see what color you will get . Also try it with less time . That will go light but not too light. Remember dark hair to blond will go thru orange and red. Good Luck.
The box says 3-4 months. I would not recolor my hair on my own before this time. If you don't think you can wait that long consult a pro.

You do realize that highlights means you bleached your hair color. You litterly have removed the pigment from your hair.

Its the same concept as bleaching your clothes. So the only way to ';remove the highlights'; is to dye it again. How do I get my highlights to fade out and get my old hair color?
They don't fade. When you bleach it takes out the color pigment. You can try to fill with an orange ( use a orange based color) which is the missing pigment then color over that with the color of your choice.
They will most likely get lighter if they are highlights done with bleach. if not die your hair back.

What would your hair look like if you dyed it a lighter blonde hair color on honey blonde hair?

I have a full head of highlights and I look like a blonde now. My hair is a darker honey blonde but I have multiple colors of blonde highlights in my hair. I would like to go blonder but I'm not sure if dying it blonde is the best case? My roots are darker.

I have natural medium ash brown hair. What would your hair look like if you dyed it a lighter blonde hair color on honey blonde hair?
Do not dye over your highlights, it will muddy the color making the distinguished highlights blend together or disappear. If you want to be lighter go to a stylist and have them increase either the lightness of the highlights or the amount of highlights you have or both! Putting a solid color over what you have will just leave you with a solid root line as it grows out and you will have to color more frequently to keep that line from being visible. What would your hair look like if you dyed it a lighter blonde hair color on honey blonde hair?

How much does it cost to get my natural hair color back?

I'm extremely tired of black, not just tired, but down right SICK of it! My hair isn't as soft as it was before, and it doesn't have the bounce and shine it used to. Giving me reason enough to go to a salon and get it stripped (or what ever you call it) to my natural color (which is a medium golden brown color). My question though, is about how much does it cost? How much does it cost to get my natural hair color back?

  • How soon can I recolor my hair with permanent hair color?

I used permanent highlights on my hair which is already color treated and do not like the results. I then colored by hair with a rinse which did not help much. I long should I wait before recoloring my hair with a permanent color. How soon can I recolor my hair with permanent hair color?
Six to seven weeks. Any sooner and you are asking for serious damage. Just deep condition each week and duke it out.How soon can I recolor my hair with permanent hair color?
You can do it immediately. Just use LOTS of conditioner and dont do this very often at all. What do you think they do at beauty shops to give highlights? They apply the very harsh blonde to strip the color, then apply the color you wish to have in your hair. Its very very VERY rough on your hair but with lots of conditioner, itll be ok. Just dont make this a habit or you will most definately lose your hair.
6 weeks and make sure until then you use moisturizer and a hot oil treatment to help with conditioning.
    you can do it immediately.
    yea i would wait awhile.

when your roots start becoming really noticeable go and do it then so you HAVE to do it agian

How to make lice appear in color on lighter hair colors?

This morning, my school nurse was telling us there is something you can put in light color hair to make the lice turn a certain color so you can see them more and the color can be washed out. I can't find any info on the internet. Anyone have any ideas what she is talking about. She can't remember but said she would call me if she remembered. How to make lice appear in color on lighter hair colors?
There is a product called Neon Nits. You can get it at most pharmacies. You might want to call around to find out which ones have it. Nothing more embarrassing than having to go to two or three stores to explain your problem. How to make lice appear in color on lighter hair colors?

How do we remove brown hair color that has stained the floor?

My friend moved into this apt.next door that has old brown hair dye that has stained the floor. I know it has been there for at least a year because I knew who lived there before and I knew when she dyed her hair. She also couldn't get the hair dye off of the floor! The Landlord won't change the flooring either. Can anyone give us an idea what my friend what she can use to get this up and off of the floor? How do we remove brown hair color that has stained the floor?
Could you try a paint thinner? Just use a little bit on a brush, and gently go over the area. This will take off the dye, as well as the finish on the floor, so you may have to varathane/paint that area again. If it's a carpet that it's stained, try getting some heavy-duty carpet cleaner and a machine. You can usually rent them from a grocery store or a place like Sears. If it's something like tile or that cushiony-stuff that looks like tile...I really don't know what you could try, other than an industrial strength floor cleaner from a hardware store. How do we remove brown hair color that has stained the floor?
Blot the stain immediately with a clean, white cloth.

Mix a solution of 1/4 tsp. liquid hand-dishwashing soap and 1 cup lukewarm water.

Blot stain with soap solution, using a clean, white cloth. Blot from the outside of the stain, working inward.

    Let sit a few minutes.

Mix a solution of 1 part vinegar to 2 parts lukewarm water.

Dab stain with vinegar solution, again working from the outside in.

Once the stain has disappeared, flush the area with cold water and blot dry with a clean, white cloth.

Everytime i dye my hair dark brown it gets really light from the sun.. What about bodyquality henna? i know i cant use the other kind since ive used chemicals to dye my hair before. Does bodyquality henna lighten in the sun? if not how often are you suppose to dye your hair with henna. is it healthier than chemical dyes? How do i prevent my hair color from lightening in the sun?
    I wear a Hat.

Linda BHow do i prevent my hair color from lightening in the sun?
You can do nothing, the sun lightens hair. The only thing to do is to hide your hair from the sun and wrap it up in a scarf when you go out or wear a hat, or walk in the sun with an open umbrella. Even if you use hair dye with chemicals, your hair will lighten anyhow in the sun.

But think of it, it is nice to have hair lightened from the sun, it sparkles as not all hair is lightened in the same way.

P.S Henna is better than chemical dyes, it does not harm your hair, in the contrary, it helps your hair to get better
Wear a hat. Preferably a cowboy hat. I do not know anything about hair dye's sry.

Get that loving color from a drug store and do not pick a dark looking shade cuz it will probably come out darker than what the box says. go with a golden color for the summer. It should not lighten your hair alot. Be careful , get someone to do it for you. Well to me it depends on what type of coloring you want. I have highlights in my hair that are semi permanent. I bought an African pride highlighting kit. If you just want a rinse, it doesn't really matter what brand you use because it's not permanent but don't get bleach or your hair streaked at the salon because if you don't properly groom it after wards, your hair will fall out. What is the best temporary hair color product to get?
    The only one that I know of that doesn't change your base color is 'Roux Fanciful';

You can buy it at Wal-mart and drugstores, and some grocery stores too.

    Have Fun!
I would say blond, because I think blond really looks good on woman and teens.
You could get a washable hair color. See those in pharmacies if they have. A temporary hair color is good for an occasion/ a causal day because you could just wash it off.
Thats what i used when i colored my hair then i noticed it didnt look any different so i stopped

    Ways To Remove Hair Color

There's nothing like coloring your hair to make you feel and look new. A new hair color can do wonders to your confidence level, though not always. Sometimes, it can spell disaster. A color might look really good on the packet cover, but once you've used it the reactions might vary from ';oh my God'; to major depression. So, if you fall into this category, then we can suggest you some solutions to remove hair color.

Okay, so somehow the hair color you have been dreaming about went wrong. It may be too bright, too dark, or simply is not the color you wanted. And, laying the blame on the colorist's door or the product company will not help. What you need is damage control-you need to remove hair color.

However, this is easier said than done. Hair color is not like furniture paint that can easily be removed with paint remover. One option to remove hair color is to go to a color correction specialist. The only way to remove hair color is with a color removal product. But only professionals should use products designed to remove hair color. These products are not recommended for consumers unless they know exactly what they're doing.

But what you can do on your own to remove hair color is to cover up. And depending on the color you selected, you may be able to cover the permanent color with a semi or demi-color. But before you decide to re-color your hair with another color, seek the advice of the color manufacturer, because mixing colors can result in bigger disasters than before.

If the hair color used was a light to medium shade, you may be able to cover it with a semi-permanent hair color after a few days. If you used a very dark shade, then it's very difficult to remove hair color and you might as well live with it. Dark hair colors are hard to correct because the pigments in the dye are very strong. If your hair has been colored a shade of green, you could try a chlorine removal shampoo, or, if all else fails, tomato juice soak.

Mistakes do happen, but learn from the mistakes and take care not to repeat them. And before you set out to repair the damage, call the manufacturer of the product first. They'll be able to suggest you ways to remove hair color. Still, if you're unable to correct the problem, remember it's just hair. The color will eventually grow out or fade on its own.

You can also make the best of the situation by visiting a stylist and getting a new flattering hairstyle that'll draw attention away from the ghastly color. You can also use this time to accessorize your hair and try out different styles. Anything that'll draw the attention from the hair color should help. Also, remember to use hair-coloring products that are safe, because a head full of orange hair is better than a head without hair.

    http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Remove-/a>

All the best :)How can I remove my hair color without using a hairdye?
you can't. if it's highlights that means it was bleached, and bleach changes like the structure of your hair, and you can't reverse it...sorry!!!
lol well you can't lift color with color so its good that you aren't allowed to have any hair dye. the only way to do it quickly would be bleaching in a salon, but you can't do that either.

Use a volumizing or deep cleaning shampoo (it will strip color faster). And let it fade. Be patient. You can also get color depositing conditioners (look for ones with blue or purple) to cancel the out the orange.

Can you add bleach to hair color without it being harmful to your scalp?

I accidentally went into the hair color process, and decided I wanted to bleach instead. Is it okay to add the bleach to your hair when you already have applied the hair color, or will that really be bad for your scalp? I need to know so that I have good results with what I am going through for my hair tonight! Give me advice quick! I hope I don't burn my scalp! Can you add bleach to hair color without it being harmful to your scalp?
It isn't healthy to color and then bleach your hair. It can fry your hair and put it through alot. It will not burn your scalp if its done right, but if you want to do it now, make sure that you buy some deep conditioner so it can help keep your hair healthyCan you add bleach to hair color without it being harmful to your scalp?
    lol like actual bleach?

thats the funniest thing ive heard in awhile

dont do it. if its actual bleach, it will mix with the ammonia in the dye and most likely kill you.

if youre talking about bleach thats made for hair, dont do it either just because your hair will turn out really gross and uneven
Why not go to a prefessional and let them do it for you? They know what they are doing and they won't hurt your scalp.

So can anyone explain that to me...For example my little cousins both are blonde right now with blue eyes and their parents are brunettes with brown eyes now since their hair changed from blonde to dark brown as they got older. My boy friend was blonde too and his hair is now jet black even though his brother and sister's hair stayed a dirty blonde. Why is it that some peoples hair changes and others doesn't? How could it be possible? Anyone know how that works? Why does hair color change as people get older?

sometimes you are born showing your recessive blond but eventually, no matter what your dominant brown will show up.Why does hair color change as people get older?
It all has to do with chemical or hormonal changes in the body.

i'd say brown hair- because its a combination of blonde and black

plus all my neices were all born with brown hair, i have like 20 neices and nephews all together, and my daughter(7 months old) has brown hairWhat is the number one hair color of baby girls born in the United States?
Two of my kids were born with black hair, now it's brown.

My last was born with brown and it's still brown, but she's only 7 months old...
With the influx of immigrants from Mexico (legal or not, but that's another story), I'd say that the majority of girls hair color in America right now is black.
Dark Brown, with black a close second
    i don't know black i guess probably
    I'd say brown
Most babies girls and boys are born with medium to dark brown hair. I should know I see plenty of brand new babies every day I work. Black is probably the next most common, then blondish, then red. A lot of babies hair lightens as they get older but at birth they are usually brown.

I have relaxed my hair a month ago and it is naturally black. I wanted to get highlights but my salonist advised against it because my hair is very damaged. Instead she suggested a demi perm color. So I chose a light brown color. But my hair color did not change at all!! It is still pitch black. Is it possible to get a brown color from a demi perm? Can I use demi permanent hair color to get brown hair?
A demi permanent color is a deposit only color, which means that it will only add color, not lift color. The most it will do to your dark hair is change the tone. For instance if you did a red demi color, it will give your hair a red tint. In order to lighten your hair you would need a color with a peroxide in it, but it is strongly advised not to use that with relaxed hair. Listen to your stylist, and don't use anything permanent, unless you want to damage your hair more. Can I use demi permanent hair color to get brown hair?
you cannot make your hair a lighter color with Demi-Permanent hair color. Demi-Permanent means thats its Deposite only, meaning No-Lift.

When I swim and dive in the sea, my hair thats usually colored red becomes orange. Is there any special product or tip to prevent this? How can I prevent my hair color ';dropping off'; when on Holiday?
There absolutely is. Pantene and actually alot of Shampoo brands are coming out with alot of color boosters now. Just go to any walgreens even wal-marts shampoo aisle, they have color booster for reds, browns, blondes, and they are not dyes, its just shampoo that gives your color a little boost and shine everytime you wash your hair! Its awesome.

How to get my natural hair color back?

My natural hair color is dark brown. For about a year i've been dying my hair medium brown but ive been getting sick of it and just letting my roots grow out. My hair is very long and half of my head is dark brown, while the rest of my hair is medium brown. I want to take all of the medium brown out of my hair and just stay with my natural dark brown color. How can i do this? How to get my natural hair color back?

You can either dye it dark brown.. or, well, i heard there are some treatments in Salons like kerastase salons where they treat dyed hair to get it back a bit to it's natural color.. you should do some research on that. Good luck :)
The easy way is to shave your head and let your natural hair grow from scratch.

Is it OK to do hair color immediately after a haircut?

It would be my first time to color my hair.

Which is better for the hair?

Hair color before the haircut, or after the haircut?

I will have the haircut done at a hair salon

but I'm doing the hair color myself as I bought this

ammonia-free and resorcinol-free permanent hair colorant

    with active vegetable ingredients.

Hope I get a lot of responses today

because today is my only free time to do it.

Thanks! Is it OK to do hair color immediately after a haircut?
i would probably dye it before,

so the hair dresser can cut off any damage or split ends that may have arose from dying.

or you may want to dye it after so there is less hair (because it was cut) to dye and more coverage for the rest of your hair.

although is suppose it doesnt really matter.

i have dyed my hair the day before a hair cut, and have also dyed it about a month after one at times. Is it OK to do hair color immediately after a haircut?
before. the couloring agents r really harsh so if u do it after u coulor then the drying stuff will get into the newly chopped hair and give u split ends
I used to dye my hair a lot and I would always get it cut after the colour
If its your first time, then its best to colour first.
It is best to colour the hair FIRST, then have it cut! Goodluck!
Yes it's fine...Not like your hair is going to fall out or anything.
    id do it before

How do I fix my hair color mistake?

Six weeks ago I used honey brown dye on my med brown hair. The color I got is coppery reddish and I don't like it. If I used a darker brown dye would it really cover the bad color and can I do this now or do I need to wait longer before redying it? Any suggestions on a good brand of hair dye would also be helpful. How do I fix my hair color mistake?
    Are you using box colours?

    you shouldn't, they won't work.

if you go to a salon someone can get you a hair color that will work with your eye and skin colour.

AND, if it doesn't work out, just demand they give you a new colour job or your money back. =]How do I fix my hair color mistake?
When you use a dye with peroxide you will be lightening your hair by taking out some of the color. If you dye your hair again, you will be taking out more color, the darker brown will fade and leave you with more coppery hair.

What I would do is go to Sally's and ask the clerk if they have a rinse you can use while your hair grows out. Rinses don't bleach the color out of your hair.

    Good luck.

If the hair dye is too dark, try L鈥橭real鈥檚 Color Zap for a reversal. This kit works after one application, gently removing dye from your hair while leaving your natural hair color intact and ready to recolour. It works on permanent hair dyes too.

If the colour ended up too light, you can try and fix it by recolouring your hair a shade or two darker.

If all else fails, go to a hairdresser. When my friend screwed up my hair (5 colours all over due to bleaching), I had to go straight to the hairdresser... :(
OMG DONT USE A BOX COLOR!!! go to sallys and get an ashy tone brown and that will counter act the red and make it neutral you wont spend more than ten bucks. i would prefer you to see a stylist but if you cant afford it at least go to sallys, wella is the best brand from there.
Use REVLON its only $3 and works really good, you can get it at walmart or target. if you dye it a darker brown it should cover it up pretty good, just leave it in a while. you can redye right now but after this time dont redye it for a while.

What is safest, home permanent hair color, and is it safe to dye eyebrows?

Have been getting my hair colored for about 5 years now by my hairdresser. Problem is; it starts to fade after about 2 weeks. It was right before a holiday; so I dyed it myself using a light Brown permanent color by Nice and Easy %26amp; it actually turned out really nice (not fake looking). Yet, I heard permanent hair colors can cause cancer. Is there a safe permanent hair dye? Also if one is very careful; is it safe to dye eyebrows? What is safest, home permanent hair color, and is it safe to dye eyebrows?
Hun, don't worry about the cancer. Permanent colours cannot cause cancer (that I've heard of--and I've heard everything about hair colouring there is!). Sure, it's not safe to inhale the fumes, but cancer? that's a bit far-fetched.

The Nice %26amp; Easy hair dyes are good, aren't they? I've been dyeing my hair red from their line, and it turns out very nice. They're pretty safe. And yes, it's safe to dye the eyebrows. If you can, try and get someone else like a roommate or friend to help you with them. Take a dye-brush or even a paintbrush, and take a bit of the dye onto it. Then dab it all over your brow, lightly. Wait about 10 minutes and wipe it off. (you should have a friend because I advise you to keep your eyes closed during the dyeing). If the colour isn't dark enough for you, then wait a day and do the same thing again. What is safest, home permanent hair color, and is it safe to dye eyebrows?
Hair color has been tested %26amp; no evidence has proven that it causes cancer. Now-a-days it seems like you hear everything can cause cancer. It's not recommended that you color your eyebrows. If you were to get the color in your eyes it could cause a chemical burn %26amp; in severe causes could cause blindness. If you do color your eyebrows be very careful. Don't leave the color on your eyebrows as long as the rest of your hair, just leave it on around 1/2 the time, eyebrows are thinner %26amp; the change is more noticeable. Also, if you're coloring your hair darker, it's less damaging to use semi-permanent hair color.
oh god, you people and your box color. Ok, let me educate you in color, box color is what we call a metallic dye, now metallic dyes penetrate the hair shaft differently than professional hair colors do. Metallic dyes never leave the hair shaft even when the color fades this means that ends grow more and more damaged while the roots get colored giving your hair that false look of being healthy over time your hair can break off on the ends or even at the root. Metallic dyes are very harmful to your hair, and nice and easy is actually one of the more damaging box dyes. I suggest going into your salon. Your not only paying for a color, but a knowledge of hair that outweighs the general publics. It is worth it.... ALSO never ever ever ever attempt to color your own eyebrows it is actual illegal in most states to have even a licensed cosmetologist color your eyebrows.
I don't think it's true that it gives you cancer. That makes no sense, the color will only penetrate your hair, and it wouldn't travel to your scalp and give you cancer. That's ridiculous.

But then again, I'm not a scientist. I'm a hair dresser.

However, coloring your eyebrows should be okay, but it's very important to be completely happy with your new eyebrow color. There's ways to strip color from hair, but if you attempt to do it on your eyebrows, you can get third degree burns. The skin underneath your eyebrows is very thin. That's only if you want to strip the color, however. Just be sure you'll be happy with the ending color.
    Hair dye doesn't cause cancer.

Permanent hair dye is pretty safe, bleach can cause your hair to fall out with a lot of uses but dye...not really.

It is safe to dye eyebrows but sometimes it can look a little weird, like different colors with each strand of hair, but usually it's fine and it is safe as long as it doesn't get in your eyes or whatever.
You should not dye your eyebrows using hair color. That is not safe. The best thing to do is to go to an aesthetician, (a person who does waxing, facials etc.) and have it done. If you have someone who does your eyebrows then probably the same person can dye them for you. It costs around $20 to have it done and lasts about as long as an eyebrow wax.

As far as your hair color fading the best thing to do would be to only use shampoo and conditioner designed specifically for color-treated hair. The best ones I have used (in terms of preventing color fade) are: Aquage, Wella, Purology, and Aveda. If you don't want to spend a lot I'm pretty sure the Pantene products are good too. Just make sure it says ';for color -treated hair'; or ';for colored hair';.

As far as safe hair color here's what I can say: I don't know if regular hair dye is unsafe. There is some evidence that it might be but then again women have been dying their hair with chemical colors for at least 70 years now and I haven't heard of that leading to a person's cancer. You just have to decide for yourself. For totally safe and natural permanent hair color you can use henna for reds and a combination of henna and indigo for browns. A really good resource is www.hennaforhair.com. Read all about it before you decide. You need to use body art quality henna. There are also several ';natural'; hair dyes on the market such as Ecocolors. I have seen them in healthfood stores but I don't know anyone who has tried them and I'm frankly suspicious of anything that says it is a natural hair color but that also says it can work in less than an hour. Natural colors usually take 1-4 hours to process.

Oh, and I'm not sure what states the other poster is talking about where dying eyebrows is illegal. It's not in CA. I've been having them done for 10+ years.

Can protein conditioners take out hair color?

I recently had my hair bleached, so I've been using a protein conditioner every week to try to strengthen it. I also use Manic Panic, which is a semi-permanent hair color. My problem is it seems like every time I use the protein conditioner, it takes a lot of color out of my hair (much more than what normally washes out). Is this normal? Or should I try switching brands? Any affordable brand suggestions would help too.Can protein conditioners take out hair color?

Whats the difference between semi permanent hair color and non permanent hair color?

Non-Permanent color is Demi-Semi-Temorary. Anything that isn't 'permanent color'.

Semi-permanent is a color that is deposit only. It only goes darker. It's a non-permanent color. Sometimes it's used with a Developer, and sometimes it isn't. It only lasts 6-8 washes.

What makes eye color and hair color the colors that they are?

I don't really know how to ask this question, but I am curious on what makes eye color and hair color the colors they are besides genes. What makes eye color and hair color the colors that they are?
Hair color, eye color, and also skin color are determined by special proteins called pigments. The pigments in your hair, eyes, and skin are encoded in your genes, which is was these traits are said to be genetic. All molecules absorb some wavelengths of light and reflect others. Pigments are typically complex molecules that reflect certain wavelengths in the visible spectrum and absorb others. Different people have different color pigments because there are minor changes in the DNA sequences that code for the pigments which result in minor changes in the molecules themselves, which in turn change the wavelenghts of light that are reflected and absorbed. If someone has blue eyes, it is because the pigments in their eyes reflect a lot of wavelenghts of blue light, and absorb most other colors. What makes eye color and hair color the colors that they are?
Then it might be a Hormone in our bodies this hormone makes a lot of things darker such as our hair color, eye color and skin color and this hormone as much as the sun light get to our bodies this hormone will be more and more this might be the reason.
    Dyed genes.
I dont know, thats a good question

What is the most popular eye color and hair color world wide?

Not just in small towns, but all over the globe.

    Also, by continent,

    -Africa

    -Asia

-India (it's so big it's listed separately)

    -Europe

    - South America

    -North America

-AustraliaWhat is the most popular eye color and hair color world wide?
It depends, on what eye color and whose face it is in. Many skin tones look great with dark eyes and dark hair. People vary alot with what looks good on them or natural and what doesn't- this is especially true with any hair color.

But I think brown (or darker colors) are world wide the most popular since more people have brown eyes.

    I'll take a guess,

Africa- Brown eyes, dark hair (black or brown)

Asia- Brown eyes, and black hair

India- brown eyes and light brown eyes and brown, or black hair.

Europe- that is tricky. Maybe hazel? And dark hair.

South America- any eye or hair color, since so many groups of people (and ethnicities) live in South America. Brazil has all kinds of people.

North America- I read somewhere that people in the US, said

';brown eyes';= more serious and trusting

    ';hazel';= were exciting

I don't recall what was said about the other eye colors.

Australia= I have no idea. What is the most popular eye color and hair color world wide?
I would say brown for hair and eye color
brown and brown... so i am unique ish.... blonde and blue LOL
Brown eyes Brown hair. Or maybe even black hair.
Girls with green eyes and dark or blond hair are just amazing...

    mmmm

    Green eyes are just sexy
Worldwide brown eyes and black hair.

Africa - brown eyes black hair

    Asia- brown eyes black hair

    India- brown eyes black hair

Europe - no clear winner, it depends on the area. In North Europe fair hair and blue eyes. In Southern brown hair and hazel eyes.

Both Americas- brown eyes black hair

Australia- fair hair and brown eyes. A majority of Aborigines have fair hair, and the Europeans get sun bleached.
i think brown is the most common eye color.
australia is so multicultural . my group of friends alone has people from everywhere around the world. india, africa, china, america, europe, islands.... thats just my group of friends. mostly dark hair and dark eyes...
    Brown
Well it would obviously be black hair (ALL Asians, Africans, Indians, and many Europeans) and brown eyes (a guess).

As far as continents go, here are my guesses:

    -Africa

    Black hair, brown eyes

    -Asia

    Black hair, brown eyes

    -India

Why would you list India separately, but not China? Anyway, I'll say once again, black hair, brown eyes

    -Europe

    Brown hair, green eyes (?)

    -South America

    Black hair, brown eyes

    -North America

    Blonde hair, blue eyes (ahaha)

    -Australia

The hell if I know...blonde hair, blue eyes?
this is related to science, brown eyes is the dominant gene of all eye colors. if a brown eye guy has a baby with a blue eye girl, the baby will be brown eye unless the brown eye guy's mother has blue eyes. then there is a 25% chance the baby will be blue eyes. In ALL continents brown eyes is the most common. black hair/brownish black is the dominant gene for hair. if ur family all has black hair and you meet a cute blonde, your baby will have black hair, unless she cheats.

since the dominant gene for eye and hair is black/brown, that is the trait most popular anywhere in the world

  • What is the best way to get my hair color back to its original color without damaging it?

I am a natural blonde, and for the past couple months I have been using 28 washout brown hair dyes at home. I havent died my hair in 3 months, and the color now is light brown/red. I think I want to go back blonde, but am unsure how to do it. I'm afraid if I bleach it, my hair will be damaged, but I dont want to wait for it to grow out, because the re-growth is not the best look.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

:] thanks! What is the best way to get my hair color back to its original color without damaging it?
Here are a couple tips I hope you can benefit from:

    1. Use a blonde-specific shampoo%26amp;conditioner system even though your hair isn't too blonde at the moment. For example, Pantene Pro-V Blonde Expressions. This will help to bring out whatever blonde undertones you have, and will help to cover up roots if they're beginning to grow in.

    2. Get all over blonde highlights once every 3-4 weeks for a month or two and by then your hair should be right to re-dye it to the original blonde that you were before.

    3. In-between the highlights be sure to use conditioner every single day as any colour put into your hair is somewhat damaging and 1-3 times per week I recommend using a deep conditioner or deep conditioning treatment or mask to deeply replenish your hair so that you can get back to blonde with as little damage as possible.

I hope that whatever you do works out, and you end up satisfied with your hair in the end, hun. Good luck! What is the best way to get my hair color back to its original color without damaging it?
just let the die fade it won't be the prettest for a while but it will get there without killing your hair.
the best thing to do especially if you really dont know what your doing is just to go to a hair salon and get it done there.

How long will it take for my natural hair color to return?

I had light blonde hair, and today i dyed it to a golden/dirty blonde. It was a demi perminant. I like it but I miss my old color. Im gonna keep it in for a month, but is there any way I can speed up the process. And I want to know if the hair color I had before will return, or will it look different? How long will it take for my natural hair color to return?
you can buy a special shampoo that helps to remove dye. ask someone who works at a salon and they should help you.

my natural color is light blonde and about a year ago i died it jet black underneath.. after a while i didn't like it so much so i bought the shampoo that helps get it out- it worked somewhat, but since it was such a dark color the dyed part is now still a light brown. so i'm still growing it out. but since your color isn't much different it shouldn't be too hard. How long will it take for my natural hair color to return?
There is no way to speed up the process.

I know people have told me once before that if you wash your hair time after time the dye will soon fade. But however I have had my hair dyed numerous times and nothing seems to work. Really the only option you have is to wait for your hair to grow in length and cut the dyed hair off until you have your natural hair color again. I hope I helped! [ =
You can buy the shampoo for blonde hair and see if that will lighten it up some. If not it just depends on how fast your hair grows. By a month I would recolor it to the color you want. It never hurt my hair. But do keep it conditioned. Some say conditioner makes their hair oily or flat but just just make sure you get it all out. Good Luck
well shampoo ur hair every day n ur hair gonna grow bout month n half... than u can actually see ur natural hair where it coming out from... n then get a hair cut where u got it high lighted... n tell ur barber shop to not cut it from where it change colors.like try number 7or8 than u can see ur natural hai ... like i said shampoo ur everyday n in bout month u gonna get ur hair back after u get the the haircut
when it grows out to the length you wish..then cut off the dyed hair

i dont think you can get rid of an artifical color. it'll either fade or stay
It really depends on how long your hair is now. On average , one's hair grows .5 inch per month.

How much would it cost to get my hair color corrected at a salon?

I have long curly hair and I bleached it a few months ago. The color came out in three different shades, blond on top, brassy in the middle, and ultra blonde on the ends. I'm going to get married in Dec. and I need to get this fixed! I'm on a limited budget and was wondering how much it would cost to get my type of hair fixed. Please help! How much would it cost to get my hair color corrected at a salon?
i work in a hair salon you are a corrective color so be prepaired to be there all day. this could cost you as little as 45 dollars or as much as 250 dolars depending on what color you actually want to be. I would suggest just making it as close to your natural as they can get it they will probably have to do a two to three step prcess on you. first even out the color and make the blonde you have now all gold then put brown over that. The brown may need to be applied twice and they are gonna charge you for every bottle of color that goes on your head. it will be worth it good luckHow much would it cost to get my hair color corrected at a salon?
    $60. canadian
In Texas it would be about $50 for an average hair stylist. If you want a good coloring by a colorist it would cost about $160.
    probably $40 - $50 dollars.
It all depends on what you want the results to be. Do you want to stay blonde all over? Do you want to go darker? Do you want darker all over with some hilites? These are all questions you need to consider, after all, this is for your wedding, correct? Is it a color you want to keep even after the wedding? What you need to do is visit your stylist and talk to him/her about what you want to see when you look in the mirror. It is going to cost a different price depending on where you live, demographics has alot to do with price, the bigger the city, the more you will pay. Just make sure you have a definite price quote before your stylist begins your service. This will avoid any sticker shock.

Why are the Caucasian race have many different hair color and eyes color. Are we the unique race on earth?

I am not racist ok. But why do Asian and African people have the same hair and eye color? Why are the Caucasian race have many different hair color and eyes color. Are we the unique race on earth?
When you ask questions like this, try to correct your grammar.

There are four groups lumped together as Caucasian: Nordic, Alpine, Mediterranean and Caucasoid. In general, only Nordics have light hair and eyes. These characteristics are aspects of what is known as ';specialization';. Specialization is an outgrowth or development from a basic form.

It is a difficult question to answer. Proto-Nordics emerged from a relatively warm and sunny area close to the Caspian Sea. Therefore a natural selection argument regarding a selective need for more vitamin D from the midnight sun or protection from snow and ice has little merit.

Today's politically correct Physical Anthropologists would be loath to even consider your question. If pressed, they would probably fall back on the selection argument that I just discounted.

Regarding your apology, I can say that most of my friends ';of color'; love to ask questions like this. I wish there was more freedom of speech in this country. Some people seem to be more free than others. ';Be afraid, be very afraid.';Why are the Caucasian race have many different hair color and eyes color. Are we the unique race on earth?
    Evolution and genetics.

There are several different factors to the resemblance of humans and the variety of different appearances. However, saying Asians and African people are the only ones with the same hair colour and eye colour is just too closed minded and illogical in my opinion.

You see, people have genes. There are also things called gene mutations, and chromosome mutations. Genes are passed down from generation to generation. But, what I'm saying is very off topic, and not very logical in this sort of conversation. That's what I'm trying to get at.

Why compare only Asian and African people? They are definitely not the same in hair and eye colour. There's always a different shade in colour of hair and eye colour. Some corneas are jet-black, and some a brown. Some are beige, and some are a half-dark brown.

So, I conclude that they do not have the same colour of hair and eyes. No one has the same colour in anything, (except for maybe parents or offspring).
My wild guess is that Asians live in hot climates but not as close to the equator so their skin is not as dark as the Africans who do live close to the equator where the sun is very intense. Asians have less pigment in their skin and the Africans have more. Their hair is different texture more curly while the Asians hair is more straight and coarse. Their eyes are the same color but the shape of Asians are more almond while the Africans are more rounded.

I forgot about my group the Caucasians all I know is that the people who lived in the northern climate seem to have lighter skin due to staying under cover from the winter weather that lasted for many months so they were not in the sun as much as the others, just a guess. I hope I don't get graded on this will my husband have to sign my report card..LOL

It is indeed unique to have different hair and eye colors, but as time goes on and races are mixing more and more. you see people in many races carrying traits that whites may have always been known for. Blacks with blue, green, hazel eyes. Blacks with blond, red hair, light skin, brown, yellow. Asians with different eye colors. I personally believe that races have adapted to their environment and so carry certain features. But I believe that some races are closer in makeup to our early ancestors that all of mankind came from and then some evolved from those races. i believe that the Caucasion race is the most recent of the descendents of those that we all came from and that Asians and Africans are from closer in makeup from our early ancestors. This is why they are known to not have as many variations as whites have as far as skin, hair and eye color.
Actually, brown hair and brown eyes are dominant genes.

It takes a lot for anyone with light hair and light eyes, to procreate a baby with those light genes.

Especially since dark hair, or dark eyes are dominant.

Caucasions, being white with blue or green eyes, and light hair, are a minorty now. That is ok, it's ok that being red haired or blonde and blue eyed is a minority now! That's great! It just means the society is more embracing of other cultures.

A blond, green eyed, with a red hair brother, and more.

the white race is a combo of so many different cultures.

there for i would not say that we are unique. more like we are very inter mixed. inter racial mixing like black %26amp; white, or asian and mexican or whatever is a newer thing. so those races are still more synchronized. plus caucasian genes like blue or brown eyes or hair color can skip generations...when the gene is dominate or recessive it can appear later on...

im not sure if that is the case in other races, this is a very interesting point though.
caucasian isn't necessarily a race. i'm half mexican and half white and i have tan skin, dark brown hair and eyes.

caucasions are made up of sooo many things such as Irish, German, Swiss, Italian, or w/e. depending how long ago your ancestors came to america.

ppl just breed with whatever race so it makes different looking ppl.
hey I've seen some black ppl with naturally gray/grey, hazel brown/green or dark brown eyes

hair color is something different...I know one black girl who has light brown hair with blonde in it....and it was her natural hair b/c her grandmother's hair is like that. something like hair color is VERY rare though I guess it has to do with genetics

i have wondered that too.....White ppl are a interesting race of ppl. But every race has something unique about them
Actually they don't have the most hair or eye colors. Blonde hair is found in many parts of Asia and there are islander tribes with blonde hair. Brown is even more common with a good number of blacks and asians having that. Red hair occurs among occaisonally among africans(though it's VERY rare).

As for eye colors I've seen all eye colors in all races. Many africans have green eyes and sometimes even blue eyes.
Human physical characteristics have to do with geographical origins. There is far too much to explain, but there is a reason why black people have the texture of hair they have and asians have the type of eyes they have, etc. It's how human's have physically evolved to adapt to their environment.
    These people are all Asians:

Note: different hair colors, complexions, facial structures...
no. i would say blacks are as they come in different shades (without being mixed). their hair is most unique, as are their lips, and fabulous bodies.

light features come from recessive genes. blue eyes etc are a loss of pigment and usually lose out to the brown eye gene because i guess, pigment is good for humans!
If you learned one thing from asking this question (and those like it), it would have to be that censorship rules in America. Keep this in mind the next time they say they want to have an ';honest'; dialog about race. It's pathetic. As an American, I'm ashamed to be associated with these turds. If only we could get our act together like those fine gentlemen in Africa. How DO they do it??
Because most Asians and Africans aren't hybrids of any other culture. American isn't a race. Native american is a race. How many of them are pure native americans anyway? A flopping 3% of the population maybe.
This is true. White people do have various combination possibilities because they carry recessive genes. Asians and Latinos and Blacks all have dominant genes (brown and black).
wow, that was quick, my answer must have hit a nerve. I told you I was psychic. oh no I offended someone. you people make me sick. Some of you are so dumb you confuse American with caucasian.
you can call yourself the unique race if that makes you feel better about yourself
The same reason you have horrible grammar and linguistic skills.
Some blacks have brown hair too. And we come in many different skin tones and facial features.
    This question sounds racist.
You should get out more, or simply do research online, you would be surprised at what you discover.
