Vikings had blond %26amp; red hair.
Italians generally have black hair.
I don't think either group's men could be considered any less masculine than anyone else.
Yul Brynner had no hair. He's always been considered extremely masculine.
It's not the hair; it's the attitude. What hair color would you most associate with masculinity?
I can't really imagine just one color being masculine.. But I guess I can give this a go, with some short explanation.
Blonde: Tends to look ';soft';, so I wouldn't call it masculine. However, many masculine men do have this color.
Medium brown: An in-between color. It's very neutral.
Dark brown: Probably the most masculine. It's a very natural color, yet it's got the dark quality to it that girls tend to like (you know, girls like ';bad boys';, and ';bad boys'; are usually depicted dark brown hair).
Black: Sort of unnatural. It's the exact opposite of blonde/white, and yet it doesn't exactly have the masculine appeal, because it seems like a color you'd get in a dye-job.. which can be associated with beauty care, or femininity.
So I guess dark brown.
However, keep in mind that everyone has different views on this, and hair usually isn't what's associated with how masculine you are. It's usually voice, body-type, and style.
