Hair Color Advice: Brown on Blonde?

I have highlighted my hair for years. I just recently went to a salon and had brown color put over the blonde. It is now fading of course because my hair won't hold the color. I was wondering if it is safe to use the kind you get at the drugstore to put on my hair? Will it turn my hair a weird color?Hair Color Advice: Brown on Blonde?
If your hair is fading make sure the salon is using glaze. Also hair does fade even with drugstore brands.

Make sure to use a COLOR protectent hair shampoo/conditioner. It does make a BIG difference.Hair Color Advice: Brown on Blonde?
if you are planning to do your own hair it is a good idea to go to a hair product supply store such as sallys. The products cost just as much as what you get in a box but you have more variety. Also the products from a professional hair store get a better hold to the blonde and are alot more permanent specially since you already did it once before.
Oh wow blonde!!!! Blonde to me is like a gold color to me. Lot's of people pay to get that kind of color for their hair. Everybody at my school gets blonde highlights or just full blonde! I feel very lucky that i have blonde hair that is because i will never die my hair! The color shines in the sunlight and it amazes me include it getting dyed blonde! Blonde to me is very pretty. But it is your choice, whatever you like. Yes, the highlights fade. My mother had blonde highlights and it is very pretty, but they all faded out. Keep the blonde hair it is better!!!!!!!!!!!
as long as you've had your hair dyed, you're good. it might not turn out exactly like it is on the box because of the different colors, but it should be fine. try the temporary version of the color you want first just incase you hate it -- then it'll just wash out :) otherwise, you're good to go!
you can use color from a drug store but also take into consideration the other colors that are on your hair.. this website explained it very well to me http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip095.htm i hope this helps you :)
I've never tried it but if you've already dyed it before then you can dye it again so if its an ugly color it can still be fixed.
