Hair color advice? I want a darker haircolour?

Hi all. Last 2 weeks I bought Revlon brown black haircolor and used it to darken my light brown hair. Right after the coloring my hair was really black but it turned softer after a few days. But right now my previous haircolor (light brown) is gradually showing on my hair. And it's getting obvious everyday. I'm not sure if Revlon haircolor products are semi permanent or permanent. So I wanna buy another Revlon brown black and dye my hair again. But the problem is some parts of my hair are still soft black while some turn lighter (going to light brown). For sure the lighter parts will go darker like I want, but what about the already dark parts?





I think of separating the darker parts and the lighter parts and dye both parts differently. I mean like maybe i can dye the lighter parts first, and wait for 8 -10 mins before dyeing the dark parts to reduce the effect. Am i doing the right thing? Thank you very much in advance. I have used Revlon products before. The box should say if it is permanent or semi permanent. I would suggest going one shade darker to help fill it in the way you would like. I would also suggest going to a beauty supply store and getting some professional hair dye. That is what I switched to. Sally's is my favorite place and I've always found anyone working there to be extremely helpful! It does sound like you have been using a semi-permanent dye. You could dye it the way you suggested by dying the parts separately, but I would really suggest going a shade darker. Hope it all works out for ya!!!Hair color advice? I want a darker haircolour?
