Well, it depends on the product. But, I always leave color on for about 15 or 20 minutes longer than the directions say, especially if you are using a semi-permanent product. Otherwise, you are rinsing your money down the drain as the color won't hold. Do a patch test on just one section of your hair. That way you'll know. Good luck !

Don't know about men's hair dye, but i usually leave mine on for 45 minutes.
Whatever time it tells on the box. If you keep it longer hair colour can turn into more lighter or more darker.
wait at least 20 minutes. unless you dont want it to work. If you bleach it and it starts burning, dont rinse it out until 20 minutes or your hair will be orange. Pain is beauty.
