I hear sulfates strip hair color, but all the sulfate-free shampoos I've tried dont clean my hair. What can I do to make my hair color last longer? Its dark brown.
ps. why do all the color extending shampoos ive looked at contain sulfates if they supposedly strip color?How can I make my hair color last longer?
Wash your hair in cool water! (:
The sulfates may actually just be a base for the other chemicals used. I'm sure there are a few other things used in the shampoos that deactivate the sulfates.
