I have some silver hairs poking up and the color I normally use (Feria) just turns them a brownish-red-silver which sounds cool, but doesn't really look so cool. I don't have a lot of money so going to a stylist isn't really an option right now. Any advice? What is the best store bought hair color for gray coverage?
Loreal excellence is very good for gray coverage.I started going gray in my early 20's, so I feel your pain! Garnier's 100% is also pretty good, depending on the color. Some shades are too 'vibrant' to adequetly cover gray. But they tell you which shade is which on the box.And it's a little less pricey than Loreal. What is the best store bought hair color for gray coverage?
Walmart ,they carry all the major brands and are cheaper then anyone else.
Get the L'Oreal Excellence. Its in a creme colored box.
Nice %26amp; Easy and Loreal Excellence are supposed to be really good at covering grey hair.
Nice 'N Easy Grey Solution
I have brunette hair, so I have to watch what I use for gray coverage. I buy Nice 'n Easy. It does have ammonia in it, so be careful. But, I think the ammonia helps to cover the gray. I sure do like it. I stay away from the ';ash'; colors because the turn my hair a greenish color, and the ';warm'; colors turn it more towards an orange color. I have never had a bad experience with this product, and it doesn't cost a fortune.
garnier nutrise, and it smells amazing no toxic chemical smells!
I use Preference, which colors the slight gray I have. 5MB is the best color!!!
loreal works best for me, expertise is what i get cause i can do highlights with it. i have been dyeing my hair for 30 years, and loreal products have worked the best.
Ogilvie covers gray best you can get it at Wal Mart The other choice is L'Oreal Excellence but Ogilvie is gentler on your hair
