What different hair color options do I have for my Dark brown hair, if I do not want to use bleach?

I have very healthy dark brown hair. I am thinking about changing the color, just to have something different. Im wondering what my options are if I do not want to use bleach. I dont want to bleach b/c that would damage my hair. I dont want to go too light, b/c I dont want to have to redo it every month. Also I want to color it at home. Get that loving color from a drug store and do not pick a dark looking shade cuz it will probably come out darker than what the box says. go with a golden color for the summer. It should not lighten your hair alot. Be careful , get someone to do it for you. a nice red-brown color over dark brown hair will give a redish shimmer thats very gorgeous, but not too intense. :]
try loreal highlight kits a couple of shades lighter.


dye your whole head a couple of shades lighter.
