What is the best way to get my hair color back to its original color without damaging it?

I am a natural blonde, and for the past couple months I have been using 28 washout brown hair dyes at home. I havent died my hair in 3 months, and the color now is light brown/red. I think I want to go back blonde, but am unsure how to do it. I'm afraid if I bleach it, my hair will be damaged, but I dont want to wait for it to grow out, because the re-growth is not the best look.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

:] thanks! What is the best way to get my hair color back to its original color without damaging it?
Here are a couple tips I hope you can benefit from:

1. Use a blonde-specific shampoo%26amp;conditioner system even though your hair isn't too blonde at the moment. For example, Pantene Pro-V Blonde Expressions. This will help to bring out whatever blonde undertones you have, and will help to cover up roots if they're beginning to grow in.

2. Get all over blonde highlights once every 3-4 weeks for a month or two and by then your hair should be right to re-dye it to the original blonde that you were before.

3. In-between the highlights be sure to use conditioner every single day as any colour put into your hair is somewhat damaging and 1-3 times per week I recommend using a deep conditioner or deep conditioning treatment or mask to deeply replenish your hair so that you can get back to blonde with as little damage as possible.

I hope that whatever you do works out, and you end up satisfied with your hair in the end, hun. Good luck! What is the best way to get my hair color back to its original color without damaging it?
just let the die fade it won't be the prettest for a while but it will get there without killing your hair.
the best thing to do especially if you really dont know what your doing is just to go to a hair salon and get it done there.
