I found this product last night actually and I am SOOO pleased! I had used a semi permanent hair color on my hair tuesday night thinking I wanted to go REALLY dark brown and I hated it. Couldn't wait for it to fade.
I went to rite-aide. They had this stuff there by loreal called color oops. I got the extra conditioning kind. I was 9.95. WELL worth it. I mixed it up and left it on my hair for the 20 minutes, (followed the directions exactly) and washed my hair after like it said and it took SOO much of the dye out. It's almost back to natural now! You can do it more than once if your hairs not to frazzled after, so you may want to get a couple boxes depending on how different of a color you went, and also b/c you say you have really long hair.
My hair is not fried at all.... just make sure to use a good conditioner and you will be ok. It smells kinda funny when your doin, and I could still smell it a little this morning, but I washed it with some herbal essences shampoo and used a good smelling/strong conditioner and I can't notice it now and its lunchtime.
I tend to dye my hair frequently, so I think I'm gonna keep a box on hand now in case I get a little crazy again with the colors, lol! Long story short, I highly reccomend the stuff! How can I get my temporary hair color out faster?
DO Wash Again And Again But Only When you're Going to Have A Bath And Shower.
Use a clarifying shampoo when you wash it. You won't have to wash it so much. Leave the shampoo on for a longer time before rinsing it out.
At least 5-7 shampoos
Use a clarifying shampoo and conditioner, or a really cheap one like Prell or Suave. Also get some hot oil treatments and use those every week. The hot oil will strip a lot of the color out faster than just washing alone.
yea stay in the shower use lots of shampoo n lots of rinse and reuse
