How can I apply temporary hair color spray to certain parts of my hair?

I want to make my hair seem as it has blue highlights using temporary color hair spray but How can i do that? How can I make the spray focus on one specific area without spraying it all over the place?How can I apply temporary hair color spray to certain parts of my hair?

you take the part you want and put the bottle a couple inches away from your hair and spray :)

Theres sprays at places like Walgreens, its like hairspray but it has colors and it washes out in the shower. Just be careful not to get it on your clothes!
