How can I correct my hair color mistake?

I colored my hair a very dark brown today. My natural color is a dark blond. How can I correct this mistake? How can I correct my hair color mistake?
GETTING HIGHLITES IS GOING TO BE THE HEALTHIEST WAY TO CORRECT IT...A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO WANT TO BLEACH ALL OVER AND ITS GOING TO FRY YOUR HAIR....JUST GET HEAVY HIGHLITES ON THE TOP AND YOU WILL BE BACK TO A MUCH LIGHTER HUE ALL OVER..AND YOU DONT HAVE TO WAIT AT ALL...How can I correct my hair color mistake?
When I made a mistake in my hair color to save money by not going to a stylist, I ended up having to go to the stylist anyway!

Did you do the whole routine? You can probably lighten it somewhat by shampooing a lot! But you'll want to get some professional help, or maybe go to a beauty school and have them correct it there as a lesson for the class!!
Correct with a razor.
I Dont understand what you are asking
I'm assuming the ';mistake'; is u wanted it ur natural color. If so, it would be best 2 wait a week b4 more chemicals 2 give the hair a chance to get back 2 it's natural ph. Best would b 2 go 2 a salon but if u can't then go 2 Sally's Beauty Supply Store. 1st use Metalex by Clairol %26amp; then use a color remover like Clairol Uncolor system, Salon Care Hair Color Correcter/Remover, L'Oreal Effasol or ColorZap. F.Y.I. I'm a cosmetologist.
wait for a few weeks before you do anything to it
happened to me once at the hair salon, i went to another salon and got highlights, looked much better
As a hair stylist, my advice is that you go to a reputable sylist and get it corrected. You never know what your getting into by using over the counter products.
Wash it with prell shampoo today! Prell has very high detergent levels and the hair cuticle is still open from your coloring -- try this for about a week to see if the color mellows enough for you to live with for a few weeks.

If you want to go back to blond, go to a professional -- they'll have to bleach it back to blond and you're going to have really damaged hair.
keep shampooing with a teaspoon of baking soda and sunlight dish soap and use a conditioner for dry hair after each shampoo..wash a few times a day for a week or two and leave it alone ...do not get highlights or colour until all your old damaged colour treated hair has grown out !!
