I just dyed it and it turned out black, what can I do?
I don't mind if it turns dark brown but right now it's like midnight black and isn't working for me.How can I get my hair color to fade dramaticly?
Color remover (peroxide) is ideal for stripping your hair of color, but that means a reddish-gold color that you'll have to re-tint all over again.
You might just want to naturally let it fade as you shampoo; try some Prell or dandruff shampoo that cleans really deep and will essentially strip your hair of build-up (and color, too), only this will take much longer than just peroxiding it.
Do whatever you think will keep your hair healthiest; if you wind up with split ends because you dyed it too much, then you have more problems to deal with.
Just do whatever is good for you and your hair. :)How can I get my hair color to fade dramaticly?
Baby shampoo will work to fade it too. Don't do the peroxide thing unless you REALLY like the color Orange
this has happened to me.....use like a tablespoon of laundry soap. it will strip your hair..only do this every 2 weeks...
Peroxide ingredient (in products such as Sun In) is excellent for bleaching hair. However, given that you just dyed it, I wouldn't recommend doing anything to further dry out your manes. Using Peroxide or re-dyeing it only makes it worse. Wait about 6 weeks. No permenant dye is truly ';permenant,'; and will fade to a darker brown. Even daily sun exposure will lighten it a bit in a few weeks.
your best bet would be to use a chilating shampoo. i know your like whats that? lol. the best kind is by joico... which is a hair product line. it is a shampoo that basically scrubs and washes away ALL build up on hair and even sometimes will take out color. which is why they always say never to use it on newly colored hair. but that would be your best bet. and even if you have to go to the salon and have them do a few highlights(bleach will only lift so much on black hair) at the crown of your head so youll have a little color variation around your face. bleach is pretty much the only other way to completely get rid of the blackness. but good luck hun. hope it works out.
