How do you know what hair color would match your skin complexion?

I want to try a nice color but not a crazy color. I've only worn jet black (1) or off black (1b), I see a lot of girls wearing colors like Mary J wore in the we ride video. Which looks nice on her, but I'm a little lighter than her, not by much, but I want my hair to look right.





Right now I have a net weave in. Looks similar to my picture there.How do you know what hair color would match your skin complexion?
It depends on how dark your complexion is...if it's pretty dark, usually lighter colors work well, just don't go too light as that doesn't look good (like blond big no no) light brown or lighter shade black is good. If you're lighter go with darker colors. Dark brown or jet black is fine. Also if your eyes are of color (like green or blue) put that into consideration..How do you know what hair color would match your skin complexion?

You shouldn't change your hair color. From how your pic looks. I think it's great. But if your still gonna do it. This is one way I know. Draw a circle, and color your skin tone in it. Then pick out colors you'd like your hair to be. See what works. Or just go to a hair salon, and ask. See what they say.

Something harmonious with your skin tone would be cool, or the tone of your eyes or both if that, is how it is.
Hey Girl, I love your weave in that pic. It looks a lot better than the one I got put in when I went to England last year. Mine was glued in and the bottom half started coming aloose after three days. It was pretty f*cked up.





But anyhow, why don't you go to a wig shop and try on different colors? That's what I do before changing my hair color drastically. I've been a blonde, a cherry redhead and now my hair is kind of reddish blonde and it looks good. ;-)
