Use dish washing liquid then follow with regular shampoo and conditioner to prevent hair from being to damaged. I think once you use it 2 to 3 times (wouldn't recommend it in one day) over two to five days it should get it out :)
Not sure how long it would take to wash it out with your normal regimen, though (Probably at least 2 weeks from what it sounds like). How long does it take for semi-permanant hair color to wash out?
Was it a box color from wal-mart or some thrift store? I recommend next time you want to color your hair please see a hairstylist because they really do know what they are doing and their job isn't as easy as it looks. We don't just stand behind a chair all day. There is a lot of learning and practice involved. Please see your stylist she will know what to do.
I don't think it should turn orange but my hairdresser told me a great fix if your in a bind:
USE SUAVE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER! It's really cheap stuff and tend to get rid of semi permanant like you wouldn't believe.
Careful not to overwash your hair though because it will open up the ';pores'; in your hair making them weak and damaged, making it more difficult to get hair dye out the next time.
Also, remember to stay away from red unless you're ready to commit. even trace amounts of red tend to stick around because as a color, it's irregularly shaped in comparison to brown or blonde tones.
Good luck, and be careful.
about six weeks to full come out but you can use a clarafing shampoo to get it out quicker
wash it as much as possible.....
Your hair shouldn't turn orange. But it will take about 3 weeks to wash out completely.
