I know this sounds like a stupid question, but I know four sets of siblings that contain a brunette and a blonde. All four blondes have overbites and crowded teeth, while the brunettes have perfect teeth. I've also noticed that the blondes are thinner than the brunettes. Are these things related or is it a coincidence that the blondes and the brunettes are so different? Is your hair color and the alignment of your teeth related?
No, but some of the genes affecting those traits might be linked (on the same chromosome). Is your hair color and the alignment of your teeth related?
Most likely the person they inherited the hair from they also inherited the teeth. So for example if they inherited the blonde hair from their dad, they also inherited the overbite from him too.
I don't think there is a correlation between hair color and teeth, because my sister and I have the same color hair but she has an overbite and I have perfect teeth.
It's related in the sense that it's all based on genetics.
