I want to dye my own hair, I've been using Garnier but almost always the color does not match what is shown on the box. Any other suggestions?What brand of hair color is the best and why?
I have been using L'Oreal Paris Feria, and I must say its one of the best brand of drug store hair colors. It leaves my hair really shiny and the color result turned out to be exactly as the picture shown in the front. And it comes with a tube of after conditioner that lasts for quite a long time.What brand of hair color is the best and why?

it colours the same, even better sometimes and it smells gorgeous.
i use the 'iced chocolate' and my hair comes out quite a dark chocolatey brown then when light shines on it, it shimmers red :)
