What kind of hair color should I buy if to color my hair back to natural?

My hair is dark brown, and i have highlights that are golden brown. I don't want them any more so I want to buy hair color to make my hair the natural color again. Are there any products out there that will do a good job that anyone suggests?

If you are going to color over your whole head, then you need to get a color that is 1/2 shade lighter than your natural. The highlighted parts of your hair are porous and will absorb the color quickly. you don't want them to be too dark. Any product will do, all though I'm partial to Wella or Clairol. Just go and buy the shade closest to your natural hair colour. Get it as close to the colour as you can so when it grows out, you dont have any roots showing.
