if you really want it to wash out definitely, don't do black or black browns. also, use loreal colorspa actif. it's harder to find but is usually at rite aid. it washes out completely, but sometimes it takes 2months. if it's not washing out y the time you're tired of it get a clarifying shampoo or use laundry detergent once a week when washing your hair (and a good conditioner, leave the conditioner in for 3mins afterwards). this will remove it faster.
clairol natural instincts is the other one, it is a good brand with a lot of colors, but I find it's harder to get out if you're going with a dark color. same procedures as above will help.

nope there is always a little tint left if you want to go back to your natural color you'll have to see a stylist. but box color has metalics in it and makes it really hard to dye your hair any other color i would suggest going to a beauty school and having them do it for you. its cheap and professional.
i really don't know how course your hair is but i did this and it wouldn't come out of my highlights that much i do know.
Be careful even with a temporary color. I used one that said it'd wash out in 6-8washings. It took months before it was all gone!!!
no it has to grow out. Use a temporary color. Nothing with the word permanent will wash out.
