I usually start off great, but im having a little difficulty making it fun. My project is: Pay up or DYE. Topic: does cost affect the quality of your hair dye? hypothesis: The most expensive one will last longest. results: they all faded to the same extent. I'm in eight grade, and need a killer research paper, so a little help with the intro plz?How should I start off my research paper on hair color?
I'm not sure how to start it, but I think if you broadened your thesis that would be better. Teachers love it when you have a thesis that shows how you're going to write your paper. Like maybe something like
Expensive hairdye done in salons lasts longer than hairdye found in drugstores for this reason, this reason, and this reason.
Research papers generally aren't very ';fun'; as you put it, they're normally the boring ones. Teachers want to make sure you have your information, and the information that backs it up.
Maybe something interesting like a question could work well in the introduction though, something like
Have you ever pondered the actual quality of those hairdyes while you were walking down the isle at the drug store? I have, and it goes to show, getting your hair dyed professionally is much more effective.
And so on....
Hope I helped a little bit :)
