How can i keep my hair color from fading?

I've gotten my hair dyed black MANY times. And its faded out sooooo quickly. Both the salon and at home hair dyes have faded out. But now im getting it dyed black and hot pink [ :D ] so what kind of products or techniques can i use to keep my hair dye vibrant for as long as i can without spending a small fortune?How can i keep my hair color from fading?
Use color treated hair formulas. Like Garnier has a specific shampoo and conditioner just for that. I'm sure theres other brands too, but I really like Garnier, it smells really good, works, and isn't a lot of money. But yea use that, and make sure you touch up your roots, and I think the sun can help fade out your color, so use sun protecter sprays.

One thing that I do to keep the unnatural color from fading is put a little bit of the dye in my conditioner.


ONLY do this for dyes like Special Effects and Manic Panic, because they have no harsh chemicals in them. Because of that, they condition rather than destroy your hair when you dye it.


If you put some of the dye in the conditioner, then every time you wash your hair, you are also touching up the color.
By using shampoo and conditioner for colored hair to retain your color. Best Wishes.
