i have medium brown hair and i recently got dirty blonde/blonde highlights.





there not brassy AT ALL, and they look so good. if you dont want them too light, i suggest you get light brown to dirty blonde highlights.

a light brown would be pretty, kind of like a caramel color
Light brown?
DO NOT GET BLOND!!! It just makes a brunette head look trashy. I would get a different color brunette or like a redish color
if i was you i would use caramel colors or maybe a dark blond look!!
Ok since your hair is medium brown I suggest the following colors:


medium red


caramel tones (lite %26amp; dark)


lite blonde (like gold)
light brown, or dirty blond
I have medium brown hair and about two years ago I started to high/lowlight my hair. You have to go to a great professional though....that's my opinion. I highlight with a blonde/dirty blonde and lowlight with darker browns. I have tried auburn/red tones for lowlights as well. I recommend the lowlighting because it adds dimension. I found that everytime I went back, I shifted the colors a little...that way I had more variety to my style.
I am going to through out a few options, golden brown, blond, maybe a burgundy red.
