Once you are out of the first trimester, it is generally considered safe to use haircolor. Many women don't want to though because of the smell bothering them, or the fumes, or the belief that it may somehow harm their baby, but I know several stylists who have worked for many years at their salon jobs while pregnant, and they all had healthy babies. I was scared to dye my hair while preg, so I waited until the 7th month and my son is just fine. Just wear gloves and be in a well ventilated area, and try not to let the color sit directly on your skin, and you should be fine.
I wouldn't go with safe, but honestly if you just CAN't wait to color your locks then have a not preggo friend mix and apply the dye to your head, and doing highlights rather than your whole head would be better. If you decide to go for it just remeber that having as little skin contact with the dye as possible is a good idea.
it says to not use hair color while preggo but i have before i dotn see how it could harm the baby....i think its because ur inhaling the harmful smell but then in that case just cover ur nose with a towel or sumthin. lol. seriously, it cant do harm after 1 time and ur only 3 months. people will always tell u certain things are bad but its not like ur babies gunna come out deformed from using hair color one or two times. they are just worried about that 1 in a million chance that somthin could go wrong...ok maybe its like 1 in 500,000 in this case because i COULD cause damage but like i said not after 1 time.

its not a good idea to use any hair dyes while pregnant...just wait until after the baby is born
