Also, are color glazes bad for your hair? Will they dry out my hair?
And finally, can you recommend a good color glaze brand that I can use at home (rather than going to the salon)? What's the difference between ';hair color dye'; and a ';color glaze';?
I don't know about any good glazes you can buy at the store, but in the salon I work at our glazes are semi-permanent colors. I don't know how that translates to box colors, but it's probably the same. If it is a semi-permanent color, it would be ';better'; for your hair than permanent color. Using any ind of chemical has the potential to dry out your hair. For the first week or 2 it will look and feel great, then you'll feel the effects.
