im really curious which color would look good, i started off with my natural hair color which was like a dirty blonde (looked like dish water) then dyed it blonde(turned out kinda orangy). My sister is now telling me to dye it light brown...would that look good for a guy age 16? what color should i do.What hair color would look good with hazel eyes and slightly tanned skin?
Pretty much any color would look good but the reason your hair turned orange is because when using box color the picture you see is what is the color on white hair. You always have to compensate by using a lighter tint than what you want or in some cases bleach to get it really blonde. You also should know that those tints usually only has 20volume developer. Being a professional I have used a very hi lifting blonde with 40volume developer to get a very light blonde....but I also have the knowledge, and the quality products.
If your hair is short and pretty healthy you could bleach over what you've done, but it often will not have a great color as you might like without using a toner. A light brown would be fine but I like highlighted hair, where it shows some natural color underneath. Not seeing what you say is orangy it's hard to tell if the highlighting would just blend in everything. If you go light brown or any solid color you'll still get roots and will have to be touched up. Are you sure you really want to go that route. When you get highlights, the regrowth doesn't show so bad, it actually can even look good on guys short hair.
Whatever you do, maybe the best thing is to ask a professional who can see your hair and guide you to what's the best procedure to go with. What hair color would look good with hazel eyes and slightly tanned skin?
